As a representative of the FASD-BRIDGE project, on 7 July 2026, Prof. Maria Kaźmierczak attended the International Attachment Conference 2026 in Leuven, Belgium. Held from 7–9 July, the conference brought together researchers and clinicians working on attachment, intimacy, and connectedness.

During the conference, Prof. Kaźmierczak participated in symposia focusing on attachment and therapy, adoption and family bonds, methodologies of attachment research, and video-feedback interventions. In addition, she took part in an introductory workshop on Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), led by Prof. Guy Diamond, the developer of the ABFT model.

The knowledge and insights gained during the conference will contribute to the assessment of family needs and support the development of a supportive model within Work Group 3 of the FASD-BRIDGE project.
