The first annual meeting of the FASD-Bridge project partners took place in Klaipėda, Lithuania.

On 24–25 September, Klaipėda University Hospital brought together partners of the FASD-Bridge project for their first annual meeting.

Representatives of the University of Gdańsk, the Greifswald University Medicine, the For the Family Foundation – Poland, and Klaipėda University Hospital met in person in Klaipėda.

During the first annual meeting, the partners reviewed the activities carried out during the first year of the project, the results achieved, and plans for further joint work. Particular attention was given to improving the early recognition and diagnosis of FASD, the needs of families, support models, and cooperation between partners across various project activities.

The meeting programme also included the conference “FASD: From Diagnosis to Family Support”, which focused on FASD recognition, child development, and family support.

The two-day meeting provided an important opportunity to assess joint progress, exchange experiences, and agree on the next steps in implementing the project.

We would like to thank all project partners, speakers, and participants for their active involvement, valuable discussions, and collaborative efforts.

The project “Early Diagnosis and Holistic Support for FAS/FASD Families in the South Baltic Region” (FASD-Bridge) is being implemented under the Interreg South Baltic 2021–2027 programme and co-funded by the European Union.
